About Me

Hey there! My name is Emily and I am so excited you are visiting my page! While you are here, I would love to tell you about myself!

I have lived in Michigan most of my life and I love it here! Okay, the winters are a little extra but give me a heated blanket and I'm good to go! I have always had a passion for photography and for serving others! I grew up constantly taking photos and editing them on my inexpensive flip phone (cringe). That turned into taking photography/videography classes in high school and purchasing my first professional camera shortly after. I spent months and months practicing and researching! I started out taking photos for friends and quickly realized how passionate I am about photography. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a preschool teacher for years while doing photography on the side! I loved both photography and teaching, but after photographing my first wedding I knew I needed to choose one to focus all my attention on. With lots of encouragement from my family, my amazing husband, and my wonderfully supportive clients... I decided to take a leap of faith and dive into photography full time and it has been amazing! I feel incredibly honored to be able to provide my clients with beautiful, genuine photographs they will forever cherish! I come to each session prepared to be a complete goofball and to do everything in my power to make it a fun and light hearted experience! Without fail, I leave each session feeling incredibly grateful that making people smile, laugh, and feel beautiful is my career! It is truly a dream come true!
